I became a teacher because I love connecting with students, inspiring their creativity, and helping them grow into confident problem-solvers. To witness their "ah-hah" moment in their learning and see the wheels turn in their heads and pride in their hearts. It’s about supporting them as they discover their potential, build strong communities, and become the designers and innovators of the future.

From my first year of teaching, the students' trust in me, the power beyond the classroom connections, and the student's confidence in how my classroom cultivated positive change in their future and creations. Many students are moving on to industries making big moves and returning to share their goals and aspirations with me. And lastly, the Impact I have made on students. One student tattooed on their forearm an artwork I did for them as a gift to remind them of my teachings to carry with them

There are so many things. The class equipment I could purchase for my Photography program with new equipment, and keeping up to date technology could enhance the learning experience and knowledge I could provide. And secondly, my family (Husband, and 2 young kids under 8, and 2 kitties) would help us purchase our first home. We are currently in a small space on my in-law's property and would make our own space to finally call our own.
