Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceDuring Covid I had a student who was 18 but clearly had reading issues. We did virtual meetings while he was hunting, ice fishing, and hiking. He went from first grade reading comprehension to 8th grade in seven months! He started writing! I had him write about what he would do during a zombie apocalypse. He ended up improving in Math four years, even though I didn’t help him with that because he could understand the questions! He now makes more money than me!
