I became a teacher because I wanted to make a positive impact on society and give back to my community. I love working with children, and I knew it was the job for me.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThe most memorable teaching experience I’ve had is when I saw one of my students who had gone through so much trauma work so hard to catch up with his peers, improve behavior and make meaningful friendships with others.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put it towards a downpayment on a house. I try to save as much as I can, but working as a teacher with one income it’s hard to become a homeowner.
