Register NowI became a teacher because I am super passionate about learning. I did my undergraduate degree in English because I have a deep love of reading and I want to show young people how exciting literature can be.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experience teaching was when I was reading “The Outsiders” with my class. The students got so into the book that many of them started gelling their hair back, wearing jean jackets, and pretended to be greasers. It was so awesome to see them become inspired by things we were exploring in class.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put the $25,000 towards buying a home for my family! That kind of money would give us a stepping stone towards a greater future.
