Tell us why you became a teacher

I always had a passion for teaching and sharing since my younger self. I had wonderful teachers as a student who inspired my future career. Teaching is not only about sharing knowledge it’s about inspiring and nurturing the curiosity of learners, cultivating their confidence and independence. Teaching ,for me , is making a positive lifelong impact on my students .

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience(s) is seeing the success and progress of my students every day especially those who are falling behind. Hearing my students talk to each other in French in the school’s hallways or outside our classroom’s walls is a rewarding experience. My best yet teaching experience is when I taught a younger group of students of 4 to 6 years old with no French background. At the end of the year, they performed a whole play in French in front of a big audience.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning $25,000 would help me so much in my personal life and career. It will allow me to focus for once on my personal wellbeing, such as visiting Hawaii for the first time.
