By chance, I never intended to become a teacher until I got to college and needed a job. That's when I became a substitute teacher. I immediately loved the job and knew it was something I needed to be doing full-time.
What would you do with the $25,000?First, I would withdraw the money and hold $25,000. That would truly be a surreal feeling that most teachers won't get an opportunity to do so. I would then hand over some money to my mother; I wouldn't be here without the sacrifices she made for me. One of my students asked for 50 dollars, so I would honor that.
