I love teaching because I play a crucial role in shaping students’ intellectual, emotional, and social development.

I became a teacher because of my deep passion for helping others and making a positive impact on their lives. Growing up, I had teachers who not only inspired me academically but also shaped my values and confidence. Their guidance fueled my desire to pay it forward, and I realized that teaching could be a powerful way to do so. I wanted to create a space where students feel valued, challenged, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI recall numerous moments where I’ve helped students understand complex concepts or work through creative ideas. One particularly memorable moment occurred when a student asked for help brainstorming a novel story plot. We collaborated through the character arcs, plot twists, and settings. As we continued practicing, the student’s excitement grew, and I knew I had played a part in bringing her understanding to life. Teaching is a calling, and I have answered the call.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the 25,000 dollars, I would give my students an end of the year party. I would buy some necessary classroom supplies for my team of teachers, and would enjoy my summer by traveling to places that I teach about during the academic school year. This would give me personal photos to bring the content to life.
