Learn MoreI became a teacher to be able to share my love of learning new things! I also really enjoy the relationships I build with my students and their parents! Watching students develop and grow ideas is amazing to witness.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy first class where I taught a dissection lesson! Seeing students brave through fears and also connect scientific concepts to real-world organisms was so cool. The smell still haunts me, but I think it was worth it!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would mix practical and experience! I would pay my remaining student loan amount from my masters program. I’d also love to take a trip to a biodiverse area to bring back experiences that I can talk about with my students. Getting first hand experiences of some of the environments and events I teach about first hand will be really fun for me and my students!
