My goal is simple: to inspire children to believe in themselves as much as I believe in them. Every child deserves someone who believes in them, celebrates their smallest victories, and sees their potential even when they don’t see it themselves. I wanted to create a space where students feel safe, valued, and supported. Watching children grow, gain confidence, and discover their strengths is my greatest joy. I became a teacher because I wanted to be the person I needed when I was younger.

Every moment in teaching is unforgettable, even if not for me alone; my family and friends remember the stories I share, and the memory lives on. One student stands out: they came unable to read, frustrated, and acting out because of low scores. I celebrated every bit of their progress, helping them feel proud. One day, they hugged me and said, “I used to hate school, math, and reading, but you made me love it. I don’t even know how.” That moment will always remind me why I teach.

If I won $25,000, I’d use it to create opportunities that inspire my students. I’d purchase books and supplies so no child feels left behind and fund hands-on experiences, like field trips, to spark curiosity. I’d also establish an after-school program for struggling learners to help them build confidence and succeed. This money would go directly toward making every student feel seen, valued, and capable of achieving greatness. It’s all about giving them the tools to thrive.
