I became a teacher because I had a really amazing high school PE teacher that really influenced my life. She showed me that teaching is a really great way to motivate kids to pave their best path. And the relationships I get to build are beyond incredible!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI put on student vs. staff events with my department at school, and the kids and adults alike look forward to the competition! It brings all of us together and adds a little fun spice to the school year several times throughout the year. I have played in the events too, which is such a fun experience!
What would you do with the $25,000?Oh so many things! I would love to put some money away for my two children’s college fund. I would also love to use a little bit on our upcoming home renovation. And I would love to donate a portion to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
