I became a teacher because I continue to aspire to make a positive impact on children and show them their tremendous potential. I wanted to make sure that every child that I have the privilege to teach, knows that they have someone in their corner, who will be here for them for the rest of their lives.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I write letters to every student I have ever taught, twice a year-- right before school begins, and at Christmas time. I check in with them, let them know I am proud of their accomplishments that I have followed, their sports activity, etc. I am beyond proud when I get an email/letter back letting me know their "future plans" or "Miss Brant, your plate model strategy is still helping me in 6th grade!" There is always at least one part of every day that is memorable <3

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I am being honest, I use my credit card to buy A LOT for my classroom, my students, and to further my education. If I won, I would use the $25,000 to pay towards American Express and Amazon... which will in turn be used to buy more of the same things.
