Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to help students with serious disabilities such as cerebral palsy, blindness, Down’s syndrome, hearing impairment, Charge Syndrome, asperger syndrome, and autism spectrum disorders, Emotional disorders and many learning disabilities because this population needs love ❤️, patience, understanding, and education to thrive in mainstream society.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most favorite and memorable experience is when I taught a group of disabled students how to read through Dick and Jane 📕 books through constant repetition and sounding out words and asking questions and what they had read and what happened in the story. Sometimes students answered questions by pictures , hitting switches ,verbalizing and pointing.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would build a stronger classroom library through books, videos, and digital media.
