I became a teacher to inspire and equip the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to create real change. Education is a powerful tool for breaking barriers, fostering innovation, and driving social impact. My mission is to empower students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and lead with purpose, transforming not only their lives but also the communities they serve.

One of my most memorable experiences was mentoring a student-led sustainability project that turned into a national initiative. A group of students, inspired by our discussions on circular economies, created a local paint recycling program that later gained state-level recognition. Seeing their passion turn into real action and knowing I played a role in that transformation, reminded me why I teach: to ignite purpose, action, and lasting impact.

Winning this grant would allow Global Paint for Charity (GPC) to expand paint recycling programs, reduce environmental waste, and support underserved communities worldwide. We would use the funds to increase collection sites, enhance educational outreach, and advocate for sustainability policies. It would also help partner with schools like Pope High, Milton High, Lilburn Elementary, UGA, and UNLV, where students gain hands-on experience in paint recycling and hazardous waste management.
