I became a teacher because I was inspired by a teacher, ( Mamie Hamilton) that it takes a village to educate and raise children. I envisioned being the change that I wanted to see in education.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was having a classroom on non-readers and investing in my students, where they received Top AR Readers for the year! What a testimony of the power of Believing that Education works for all students.
What would you do with the $25,000?As an educator, I would invest in field trips to provide exposure for the students in my school district. Then, I would purchase STEM supplies to build critical thinking skills that are vital in for students to be College and Career Ready.
