I became a teacher because I was inspired by my middle school band director to make music everyday. Mr. Jannuzzelli made school a wonderful experience because of the opportunities he provided me with music in middle school. I am proud to teach at my former middle school where I am making memories with my students and community everyday. It is an honor to lead the same music program Mr. J influenced me with. The full circle experience has been a lifetime achievement that rewards me everyday.

My most memorable teaching experience occurred recently in the Winter of 2022. That Fall, I started my 14th year of teaching as the Band Director of my former middle school. This proud moment lead to my most memorable moment in my teaching career. It was at my first winter concert that I remember standing in front of my students and community. I took a moment to myself on the podium to soak it all in. I reflected in thought on the journey God took me on. I am so grateful for this opportunity!

I will be buying “time” if I win. This winning would wipe out the remaining balance of my private student loans. After our daughter Juliana passed away in the Spring of 2022, my wife stopped working full time to manage her grief, as well as become more available to our 6 year old son, Jack. We will become debt free with this winning. Me and my family will be able to have more time together without my wife and I making ends meet with side hustles & time away from Jack and each other.
