Tell us why you became a teacher

Since middle school, I have always wanted to teach the special education population. I started working at a group home for the mentally retarded population in 9th grade.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Is when my students returned back to high school and graduated three years ago.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would give back to the students at Flint Southwestern starting a cooking course twice a week. I would also love to take a vacation to relax
