Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I wanted to be impactful and make a difference in the lives of others. I was in high school when I met the teacher who made a huge impact in my life. That feeling of being taught by someone, while also having the feeling of someone caring for me as an individual, while assuring me I can be someone is what I wanted to do for others.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching moment is when I had a student that had fell through the cracks & was passed along through grade levels without getting the foundation that was needed. I got this student in summer school. At the end of the term, this student hugged me and cried and told she couldn't believe I helped her learn because no one have ever did in her 3 years.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the 25,000, I would pay off some debt, see what needs my campus would have to donate too, pay my tithes to my church, take a trip, and save the rest.
