Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was with a student who struggled academically and lacked confidence in their abilities. At the start of the year, they were withdrawn, hesitant to participate, and often discouraged. Through consistent encouragement, personalized support, and allowing the student to have a safe place to have conversations about how they truly feel. Emotions play a key role in students' learning and understanding; showing and giving love unlocks their potential.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Honestly, I would finish paying for my Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of North Alabama. I would use the funds to buy more interactive games and manipulatives for students to take home and use to build knowledge with their families. Lastly, I would put some in savings for a rainy day or unexpected expenses.
