When I was 12 my momma had a baby. I taught him how to write his name, tie his shoes and name his colors before he started school. If I can teach him and see him succeed I would love to do that for all children.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI taught Pre-K for 10 years. The district I was in was low economic. I was Christmas time. I asked the families to bring a book for class exchange. One of my little fellows told Mom" teacher needs a gift". Mom told him the book was all they could afford. He went home and emptied his piggy bank, told Mom to take him to the dollar store. He bought me a salt and pepper set. That was over 20 years ago. I still it.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have custody of my little granddaughter. I would make sure she has means to go to college. Then get much needed special education equipment for my class.
