Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because its been a dream of mine since I could remember. I used to pretend to teach a class in my grandmas living room space every single day. I had pretend students with names and my mom even bought me a grade book!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I have so many moments that have stuck with me as a teacher. I would say my most memorable is when I broke down crying in class because I wanted to quit because I was so stressed with work and school, and my students wrote me letters telling me why I should stay and how impactful I’ve been as their teacher. They’re the reason I stayed.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25000 I would definitely pay off my debt . Moving to Dallas put me in a hole quite honestly that’s it’s been hard to get out of. The money would help a lot.
