I became a teacher because I want to help young minds flourish and become all that they can be. It makes me feel good when I see children learn when they didn’t think they could. Teaching is a rewarding experience which no other career can compare. The kids are my motivation which allows me to go to school early and stay late for them.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThe most memorable teaching experience is when I met one of my male students during Open House. His parents informed me that he had never had a male teacher. After leaving my classroom, the student was so happy and being filled with excitement he ran down the hall yelling, “I got a boy teacher!”😊
What would you do with the $25,000?I would most likely save it for retirement.
