I always loved caring for and playing with younger friends and cousins. It felt like teaching elementary students was a combination of those 2 things.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching moment was when a former student came back to thank me for teaching him to read.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won $25,000 I would take my family on a vacation abroad. My husband and I are both teachers, so money doesn’t grow on trees and being able to provide an experience through travel for our own kids would be a huge opportunity. I’d also continue to support my school with a book donation so that students can build home libraries.
