I became a teacher because I fell in love with school when I was in the first grade. My first grade teacher is the reason I became a teacher. After having her, my dream was to become a teacher just like her. She was energetic, fun, kind and made learning fun. When I became a teacher I told her that she was my influence. I strive every day to be a teacher just like her! Now, previous students I have taught have become teachers and have said they wanted to be a teacher just like me.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when I was being observed for teacher of the year for my school and my kindergarten students were so very excited when they found out I won! Their faces and their expressions were like they had won a million dollars. They were so proud of me and I was so proud of them.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would save it for my own two children (for college).
