I was raised in section 80 housing to a broken home, it was teachers who gave me that stability and consistency through my childhood and that thirst to explore the world around me.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen I taught kindergarten I had a student when she came to me she didn’t know any of her letters. When she had worked up to reading her first book, and watching her face froze as she recognized she “could read” that moment will never leave me.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would like to use it to pay down on either student loans so I may one day potentially be able to mortgage a house, or possibly set up a streaming set up to teach students the skills they would need in this new age of online content creation.
