I am not a traditional teacher, I'm what you call an enrichment teacher. I teach students to explore their passions and be confident always.

Big or small there's a difference only you can make. A lesson I took to heart from my Dad, and one I try to instill in my students. I actually thought teacher would be the last profession I'd be in, but the world has a way of putting you where you are meant to be. I wanted to make a difference in the world, it starts with our future, the kids.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have had so many, but I had a student who was ESL, English as a Second Language. We were learning basic conversational sign language through YouTube teaching tools, because of those lessons he was able to communicate with his peers. If he couldn't remember the word in English he would sign it and his classmates would tell him the word and sign it. Later that student began teaching the others Spanish and now most of them are tri-lingal in conversational at least. It's that small difference.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have longed to go abroad to the UK to learn and see their history, culture, and bring those unique experiences back to my students. To expand their world and learn about the people they share the world with.
