My son is autistic, I was able to help him navigate this big world and help him be successful. This inspired me to want to help others students. I went back to school and got my Early Childhood/Elementary Education degree! Early childhood is so impactful to teach because the first 5 years of a child’s life is so critical and they learn so many things! I love being part of their journey and starting them off on the right path! My first class is graduating this year!

My most memorable experience has been helping a boy with a traumatic brain injury go from socially/emotionally struggling to a functioning person in our community! We worked really hard to help him, and his parents, through such a tough situation. So rewarding!

With this kind of money I would help students in our high school that would like to be a teacher with a small scholarship. My son and daughter-in-law are teachers and I would love to help them pay off their loans! I would also take my husband on a vacation since he always helps me with my crazy ideas for my classroom! 😊
