I became a teacher because I had a phenomenal 2nd grade teacher who made me fall in love with math and science. She made me feel like I could accomplish anything. I wanted to give that same feeling and be that phenomenal teacher for another child.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIn my class we were reading a book about weather. In the book we learned about the different types of clouds. When we went to recess one of my students came up to me and said, "Look Ms. Moore!" As she pointed up to the sky and named the correct type of cloud in the sky. I felt so proud she retained what I taught her.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000 I would buy some supplies and/or furniture for my classroom and take a much needed vacation.
