Tell us why you became a teacher

As a child I struggled to grasp concepts, I always thought something was wrong with me. After pushing on and developing my own coping skills through my unknown adversities, I made it through. A long the way I always had a mentor that was a teacher, that gave me the confident boost I needed to keep going. Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable experience has played several times in different places with different students. The feeling of knowing that a student understands how they learn is golden. And for me to know they have confidence in there learning is the consistent memory I have throughout my teaching career.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would pay off some loans, set up future funds for my two children, and use some of the funds for things my students need, lab equipment ( I am a science teacher).
