My father was a great influence on me. He was a teacher, principal for over 30 years. I had wonderful influences from my teachers in elementary and in high school. I want to be that teacher for all those I have in my classroom.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student with not much support at home. I tried to interact with him as much as I could and try to get him to class. While in class, I tried to get him to work. I preach show up and try and good things will happen. It took time but the relationship is priceless. Eventually, he showed up regularly and turned it around to where he was excelling in Math. All worth it.
What would you do with the $25,000?Invest in my retirement. Treat my wife to something nice.
