I became a teacher because I loved working with children and I knew that I could make a huge impact on their lives and on the future of our world by teaching.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student that could not read. Many professionals said he would never read. When he came to my class, I saw how smart he really was despite the labels. I researched the best methods to help him and began implementing them. After a short time, he started to read better and better.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would donate a large amount to a charity and I would use the rest to help my own son with autism to receive therapies not covered by insurance.
