I became a teacher to engage and prepare the next generation. I wanted to bring my experience into the classroom to provide real life stories and tie them to the curriculum. Connecting theory to reality and in an energetic way.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience has been when two of my students (seniors in college) approached me after graduation to mentor them in their business careers. I had two mentors in my life and was honored to continue teaching and supporting students “after” the classroom in their careers.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would donate money to my wife’s public school teacher and classroom (serves students with autism and developmental disabilities) who she works with each day. I would also use the money to assist in the development of an app to support college students understand how to go to college. And then take a vacation.
