I became a teacher so that I could be a small voice inside of the heads of children, reminding them that they can do anything that they put their minds to, and that there is nothing they cannot achieve. Having someone in your corner is so magical and I just want to be that for anyone who needs it.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI taught in a 100% international school and one of my fourth graders began the year, not only not being able to speak the language, but also not sure where to put his anger: at the end of the year he wrote me a letter and explained to me that he wanted to be a teacher so that he could change lives like I had changed his.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use it to dig myself and my family out of debt and create a less stressful life for all 6 of us. It would be incredible to not have to sell plasma just to make sure we have gas money.
