Learn MoreI chose the field of education because I love working with students and helping people. The feeling I get when I am teaching math and mentoring my students is incredible. I want to be able to say that I have made a positive impact on my students’ lives by giving them the joy of learning math. I also love the fact that I have an additional bonus opportunity to make a difference in my students’ lives as well as to help my colleagues.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching moments was outside of the classroom on a field trip. The students learned hands on mathematics skills and how to use math in the real world. The students enjoyed themselves while learning math skills.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would open up a tutoring program that will support students in becoming successful in learning math. I also would like to give back to my students, and get more classroom supplies.
