I became a teacher to give children the chance to love learning. Each student is capable of so many things no matter where they come from. The impact a teacher has on a students life is profound and never ending.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience occurred within my first year teaching. We were creating Mother’s Day cards in my third grade classroom. One student gifted me a card and said that I am the only mom they have. That I will carry the rest of my life.
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 I would give back to my school I currently work at that is a Title I campus with a high population of homeless or socioeconomic disadvantaged students. I would like to provide all students with a gift from the heart.
