I became a teacher because I wanted to show students how enjoyable reading can be, and to spark that love of literature for young adults. I also wanted to show them how powerful writing can be.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI’ve been teaching Macbeth recently, and towards the end of Act 2, I had several students express how much they’re enjoying the play.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use part of it to travel to somewhere new and the rest to buy books for my students to take home at the end of the school year.
