My favorite teacher was my middle school teacher Mr. T. He had so much compassion and love for teaching and always gave me words of encouragement to have more confidence in my learning. I have had other professions but not being able to make a difference and by being a teacher I am hoping that my small words of encouragement can change a student’s love for learning and have an impact in their lives.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceTeachers never hear compliments or whether we are doing a good job from our own students. But when students who leave and come back to visit you or those who say you “actually teach and I learn” is the greatest moment that I cherish.
What would you do with the $25,000?My husband and I are both teachers so we want to invest and to help take care of our parents. Most importantly this will help us also start a family. Having to set aside family planning because of finances have been difficult so I am hoping this will help in the long run.
