I decided to teach after I served a few years as a high school Wrestling coach. After watching the long-term development of student-athletes, I found a love for helping students reach their goals, and give them tools and skills that can help them in their futures.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was the last day of school with a group of 8th graders who I had the privilege of teaching them for 2 years in a row. I decided to write them a letter of gratitude and express how much they impacted me as an educator. As soon as I started reading the letter, I began to cry. Then the entire class started to be emotional. After I shared my message, students took turns sharing how grateful they were to be apart of our class.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off some debt and look to start a fund to purchase a home for my wife and myself!
