My desire to help and make a difference in people’s lives lead me to become a teacher. I truly believe education is the most powerful tool that cannot be taken away. I wanted to provide that tool to everyone I’ve encountered and try make a difference in the world.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when my student forgot his glasses on the day we took our state standardized testing. I remember panicking as if he were my own child. I then walked to him and handed him my glasses and asked him if he could see. He smiled and said yes. I was filled with so much joy. His mom later thanked me and he ended up scoring a level 4 out of 5.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to go towards a down payment on a home for my four children and I.
