Register NowI became a teacher simply to inspire and mold the next generation of leaders! When I was military, I met and got to know a lot of people from all different walks of life and backgrounds. And when my military came to an end, I couldn’t think of a more rewarding careers besides being a teacher!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student studying for a state exam and she was nervous about failing. One day I told her “you get what you put in”!. From that day, she would ask for extra help and would even study on her own. I would see her walking around with flash cards, watching YouTube videos for understanding, and asking her friends to quiz her. The day she came back from taking her exam, I asked how it went. She told me it was easy, only took her half the time, and you get what you put in!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would take my family on a trip to Disney! I would also be able to fund different projects for my class, support other teachers in my cohort, and invest in reusable STEM kits for my team.
