I love teaching because it is so rewarding. We get to see our students learn and grow throughout the years. The students are amazing!

I became a teacher because ever since I was young I’ve always wanted to be one. I’ve had teachers growing up that helped me flourish and I wanted to be able to do the same thing for my students. Teachers are one of the most important beings in the world and it is a blessing to be one. Helping students learn to their best potential is my favorite part.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThe most memorable thing about my teaching experience so far is the job itself. It is my first “big girl” job. I didn’t expect teaching to be such an amazing but difficult experience. The best part is having the students write thank you notes or notes of appreciation. One student even said I was one of the first teachers in the school to make them feel comfortable being themselves.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off my student loans. I know it’s very simple but if I could pay my loans off it is one less thing to worry about.
