Tell us why you became a teacher

I was tricked. I walked around campus trying to decide my path. I walked into the education building and asked for more information. They had me sign some forms with the understanding that they would mail info. When I asked how to commit if I was interested, I was informed I was already accepted based on my gpa and test scores . I said I didn’t know whether to be mad that she tricked me or happy to be accepted somewhere. She said I would be a future teacher of the year. She was correct.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I remember a bike lesson in PE class one year. I had a 3rd grade student that could not ride a bike. For two weeks, I met her before school and taught her how to ride on the basketball court

What would you do with the $25,000?

Pay some bills and take my wife on a much deserved honeymoon. This April will be 3 years and we still need a honeymoon
