I became a teacher because I had worked a career for a short time out of college that I dreaded going to every day. I wanted a career that allowed me to expand my knowledge and, at the same time, educate others. It is a fulfilling and challenging career, and I enjoy what I do every single day.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceAs a teacher, this is impossible to answer. I can’t choose a time I felt I noticed a change in a student in class and weigh it against running into a former one who is now successful. It’s like trying to decide if a moment of growth early on in my career is more memorable than an achievement I’ve received more recently. The career is full of memorable moments. If you have just one that stands out, you’re not doing enough.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use it to help with my student loan debt and expensive mortgage payments.
