I became a teacher to inspire the lives of our children and teach them in a way that is fun and creative! When my students come into our classroom, we leave everything else at the door. They don’t know when I have a bad day and I embrace their bad days to turn them into memorable happy ones. If you ever visit my classroom, it’s a revolving door for all ages! I teach 1st grade, but I have pre-K-4th graders that stop by my class each day for morning hugs and love, life stories, and more!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen teaching my lower level group, “Will they ever grasp this” is always the question! I was in front of the class teaching and every single student was grasping the content! I cried in front of the students that day! I told them I was such a proud “parent”!! This year, one of my students randomly asked for an hug during breakfast! “Of course!” When she hugged me, she broke down in tears! She missed her mom but she knew I would love on her! She came to me for comfort. I give them love first!
What would you do with the $25,000?With 25,000, I’d help my husband and I with finishing our house and fixing up our car. Tithing is a must! I would go back to school. There are so many ways this 25,000 would be beneficial. Mainly, I’d use it to help my family!
