Teaching is a labor of love. I love watching them grow and the looks on their face when they learn something new.

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference in others' lives. Inspired by teachers who believed in me, I wanted to be a source of encouragement and support for students. I love the idea of helping others unlock their potential, foster curiosity, and overcome challenges. Teaching allows me to grow constantly, both personally and professionally, while contributing to the future of others. It gives me purpose, and through it, I can create lasting, positive impacts on students' lives.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was when a struggling student finally grasped a difficult concept after weeks of extra help. Seeing their eyes light up with understanding was incredibly rewarding. It was a moment of breakthrough, not just academically, but emotionally. I had watched them build confidence over time, and that moment felt like the culmination of their hard work and persistence. It reminded me why I became a teacher—to help students believe in themselves and succeed.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, newly married, I would use it as a down payment on a starter home. My husband and I have been trying for some time now and other has not been an easy battle. We know one-day we will make this dream a reality.
