I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to teach students standards but most importantly, I wanted to teach them love and empathy and that be different is not just okay but it is beautiful!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience would be seeing growth in my sped students. I have had a couple of nonverbal students in my career so far. Breaking through and finding ways to communicate is a special thing to be a part of.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off debt. I have far more student loans than I care to admit to. My oldest son just got his license, I would buy him a dependable used car. He starts college soon and will be attending college 3 hours away. It would definitely do this mama's heart good to know he had dependable transportation.
