Teaching is all I've ever wanted to do! Played pretend teacher growing up and have worked with children ever since. I had teachers that were such a huge influence in my life. I wanted to be inspirational to other children.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of the most memorable was meeting Roman. He was from Russia and pretty moderately autistic undiagnosed. He was non verbal, no skills, no social skills. By the time he left my class he was fully functional with a communication system and knew all his concepts.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would start a foundation to support families dealing with autism to advocate, get them information, help them receive services, assist with transition, and purchase needed materials.
