I became a teacher because I recognized the need for diversity and inclusion in education and felt the best way to make a change was to step head first in to the classroom and be the change!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI remember the first time a student told me they loved me. The student was struggling with a brutal home divorce life and every day we had a great day at school. At the end of the year, my first year, they thanked me and said they loved me ♥️
What would you do with the $25,000?I would redecorate my spec Ed classroom to make it the most sensory friendly classroom that encouraged student growth and sense of belonging in school! I’d also pay off some of my student loans!
