Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I believe education has the power to transform lives. I wanted to inspire students, nurture their curiosity, and help them reach their full potential. Seeing students grow, develop confidence, and overcome challenges motivates me every day. Teaching allows me to make a lasting impact on future generations while fostering a love for learning.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was when a struggling student finally grasped a difficult concept after weeks of effort. Seeing their eyes light up with confidence and hearing them say, “I finally understand!” was incredibly rewarding. Moments like these remind me why I love teaching—helping students overcome obstacles, believe in themselves, and achieve success is truly fulfilling.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were awarded $25,000, I would invest it in enhancing educational opportunities for my students. I would use the funds to purchase classroom resources, technology, and hands-on learning materials to create a more engaging and effective learning environment. Also, I would organize educational field trips and extracurricular programs to inspire students beyond the classroom. A portion of the funds could also support my professional development, allowing me to bring new teaching strategies.
