I became a teacher because I wanted to give back the same inspiration and support I received from my own teachers growing up. Their belief in me transformed my confidence and opened doors I never thought possible. I’ve always been passionate about fostering a love of learning, building meaningful relationships, and creating environments where all students feel seen and valued. Teaching is my way of contributing to the future and ensuring that every child knows their potential is limitless.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was with a student who struggled not only academically but also socially. They came into my classroom feeling defeated and hesitant to engage. Over the course of the year, I worked to build their confidence through small successes, individualized support, and celebrating every win—big or small. By the end of the year, this student stood in front of the class to deliver a presentation, smiling and proud.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d dedicate the funds to professional development, ensuring I stay at the forefront of educational strategies.
