I wanted to give back my community and help my students enjoy school. I try everyday to be someone for my students to count on.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student having a difficult time trying to write an argumentative essay. It was like pulling teeth, several attempts and revisions, too many student complaint's to count, and finally both of us had reached our limit of frustration and we wanted to give up. Then, lighting struck. It finally clicked for the student.The standard and assignment had tested both of us. We both won. The student didn’t give up and neither did I. This was 6 years ago and I can still feel and see our success.
What would you do with the $25,000?My daughter Evelyn is 7 years old and my son Joseph is 4 years old. The money would be invested to be used for their education later on.
